As we continue to build out a unified end-to-end solution, enhancing our deduplication functionality through offerings like our Eloqua deduplication job, we have now deployed our Marketo counterpart.
This new job enables the user to check if the lead is a duplicate before we integrate the lead.
For our users, this means you can guarantee that the lead is not a duplicate before sending to a client (made evident by the ‘update’ timestamp within your clients Marketo instance).
Within the job configuration, a client id, client secret and Marketo URL are required (click here for more details) from the Marketo instance you’re checking against.
Additionally, you can configure the duration in days of when a lead was last updated on the job setup. This means that when we run the job we can check if the lead was updated within the time period specified.
E.g. If the job was set to last 30 days, we would check to see if the lead was updated within that timespan from when the job was run, if it was we would then flag it a duplicate.
